Finals Format & Timing

The 2025 WSL Finals will take place at Cloudbreak, Fiji, running from August 27 to September 4, 2025.

This "winner-takes-all" finale is a one-day knockout showdown among the Top 5 surfers per gender. The structure pits the 4th vs. 5th seeds first, progressing through to the finals against the No. 1 seed. As a new rule, if the top seed wins the first heat of the title match, they automatically clinch the championship - no need for further heats.
