Can best be described as a Spy vs. Spy comic in real life. Its more like two vindictive cold war ideologies fighting to annihilate one another than a viable system of governance. Collateral damage be damned. The well being of the nation and its populace is of no consequence to either side. The will to preserve the Republic, our system of self governance and the democratic process are all but gone. Cheating, lying and spying are very much the norm today. We just need to color one spy blue and one spy red and it'll no longer be just an analogy.

Anyone who thinks this is about Trump is either very early in their experience on this spinning rock we are on or they haven't been paying attention.

This is not about Trump. The Democrats, in conjunction with the media, have a history long history of creating caricatures of their political opponents and using those caricatures to bring down political opponents. It would be like if the Republicans took the racist statements that Biden has made and worked with the media to canvas the news, day-in and day-out, with this narrative until the candidate either gave up or just lost. They did it to Reagan, GWB, McCain, and even Romney. I'm not sure why GHWB seemed to get a pass. The stupid Democrats usually believe this stuff word for word and the smart ones believe it just enough to help them sleep well at night.

The difference is that in the 2016 election, the Democrats crossed over from character assassination of their political opponents to criminalizing the opposition. They want their opponents gone and they are willing to lie, cheat, and steal to make that happen. What happened with the Hilary Clinton campaign, the law firm she funneled the money through, Fusion GPS, the Steele dossier, our FISA courts, the listening to Trump campaign phone calls, implanting spies in his campaign, and the Mueller investigation should go down as the biggest scandal in the history of American politics and should be a huge black eye on the Democrats. This should concern everyone. This is scary shit that happens in a lot of hell-hole countries but it shouldn't happen here.

Trump was a gangster from the start, and you had plenty of warning, so spare us the victim bullshit.

Trump will go down in history all right, but not as the innocent patriot persecuted by the evil Democrats.

A gangster? A big bad real estate gangster who has been under IRS audit for decades and you guys have put what 19 lawyers in charge of investigating him for years and you still weren't able to come up with anything? LOL Must not be great at gangstering.

If Sniper was a Trump U student or one of the many businesses Trump enterprises has f-ed over he'd be whistling a different tune.

Characterizing any of the last many Democratic President's as bad people is crazy. Jimmy Carter is a Saint. Obama a smooth family man. JFK? One of our most popular Presidents ever.

Nixon crook, Bush CIA, Bush 1000s of Americans killed/injured in unnecessary war.

Trump is a $hitehead compared to any of them. A tweeting child of a man that would bully his own fat supporters in a heart beat if he thought they turned on him. He's scum.

You can impeach someone because you think they turned a vacuum cleaner on the wrong way but that doesn't mean they did anything wrong.

Just think about all the things we would have never known if Trump had lost? Weinstein and Epstein would still be doing their thing and we would have never known how far the Democrats were willing to go in order to stack the deck in their favor and then protect the establishment when things don't go their way. We still have a lot left to learn about the details of what the Democrats did in 2016. The closer we get to the truth, the more hysterical they will become.

Not everything is a conspiracy bro. You are speculating and kinda making stuff up.

This is about a douchebag that became President on the backs of people who believe way too many conspiracy theories and nonsense.

Guy acted like an unbelievable douche since the day of the golden escalator and then continually outdid himself from there- until he eventually fucked himself and got busted.

Now I'm off to my English language class LOL

Well well. Trump sucks but it not because he turned a vacuum on. The GOP is now having their public relations spinners offer a major pivot after the Sunday minimization tour. It was a complete failure. Pretending impeachment could happen for any little thing at the hands of a party that hates you might work with the 33% that take fox's opinions as facts, but even fox has joined in. It's not about impeachment as possible for anything, it's about impeaching trump for the words he admitted and he released about his perfect conversation. You can try to hate the game and love the player, but you have it backwards.

The Democrats are opening a Pandora's box with this investigate-everything culture they are creating in Washington. You guys might be having fun with this right now but there are a lot of people in Washington on the other side of the aisle who cannot wait to do this shit to Democrats.

The impeachment will never stick. The Democrats aren't going to be able to get the American people to buy another ticket for this shit ride they have built. You aren't going to be able to convince people that what Biden did, what Hillary did, and what the Dem congressmen did when they sent the threatening letter to Kiev, demanding Ukraine investigate Trump, meant nothing but this call that Trump had, of which we have the transcript, should be the end of him. Not going to happen.

LOL, Benghazi? Whitewater? Pugs invented this shit, so I have no time for faux victim crap. Trump committed a major abuse of power and then released the transcript. He literally doesn't know that he what he did was illegal. You guys protecting him so long has convinced him that he's above the law.

And he might be, the Senate can still just jury-nullify the whole thing like a white man on trial. But the crazier things get, the worse his chances of getting elected, even with the game rigged by EC.

And therein lies the dem strategy. Again, dems/progs are miscalculating badly. The people who care about this are the same fools who believed that Trump was "going down" due to the Russian collusion hoax and Trumjp voters, who will turn out in droves in 2020.

It's called keeping people in check with the law.

You know- checks and balances? The backbone of America? Maybe Google how that's supposed to work.

Reminder: To this day, the Trump campaign can't explain: 1) Why they had so many Russian contacts; 2) why they were glad to meet them; 3) why they never called the FBI; and 4) why they lied about it every time.

Their answer: "Obama Deep State tapped muh wires." And, "Obama didn't do enough to stop Russian interference" And, "butter emails."

Might have been funny if it wasn't true. Since his campaign's conversations were being monitored and "deep state" operatives are leaking information discussed on his private phone calls, I'm surprised you are still bringing it up.

The impeachment will never stick? That's not a crystal ball you're reading, its the GOP talking points that got released early. Impeachment is the Pandora's box that will hurt the country? I am surprised that you believe in preventing damage to the country as your President sodomizes lady liberty. Now you care when it would protect him? Where were you for the damage he's caused with his failures, arrogance, befriending dictators while alienating our allies. He filled the swamp and you cheered.

I think there's a hard ceiling on trump supporters. You're not getting any new ones, it's pretty much pegged. But, if people who don't always vote are outraged by the lawlessness and cruelty of this gangster, they represent a massive chunk of the population, but do enough of them live in the redneck states to keep the EC from electing another massive loser of the popular vote. Who knows?

The show must go on! Burn it down.

. Recent elections since Carter beat Ford, the OUTSIDER has won most every election. Reagan was an unknown Governor beat the President, then beat Mondale, Clinton beat Bush and Dole, Clinton was the Arkansas good ole boy. Bush beat Gore and Kerry, Bush was the good ole boy. Obama beat McCain and Romney, Obama was the outsider. And TRUMP is the ultimate outsider who beat Clinton... The PEOPLE don't want Washington to rule them, they always elect somebody from OUTSIDE the beltline. The People inside the beltline exempt themselves from the laws they require US to follow. Any dumbasses that believes a career Politician is better for the country is out of touch with America. Any dumbass that wants an Impeachment of a President to go forward because you are listening to Politicians inside the beltline are also out-of touch. The News and internets tell you what to believe and how to think and you blindly follow and once again power is taken from the people and sucked into Washington. Don't let the media lead you into allowing the career politicians take the power of the election away from you the people.

Trump broke the law.

Trump has to face his self created consequences.

As far as outsiders? The Bush family was and is an American dynasty. The silver spoon Skull and Bones people are bred to rule. Clinton was a governor. Obama was a Senator.

Which country was better, the one run by politicians - Clinton, Obama - or the one run by Trump?

Thanks Green. I have certainly evolved from being a left leaning social democrat into a libertarian/anarcho-socialist, but for me that's the result of my interest in the rising leftist youth movement and more reading of political and economic philosophy. Unlike the binary thinking guys, I think the world is full of nuance, and I'm a big enough guy to change my mind or even admit when I'm wrong.

I have to agree that trump has had a lot to do with the rise of the left though. He should be Antifa recruiter of the year.

I don't know about "blame" for the EC, but it's an undemocratic and archaic system that allows some people's votes to count more than others. I don't like that, and neither should you. Snipe wouldn't like it except it favors his team at this moment in time.

Another element of this story that isn't being discussed is the damage being done to international relations. The Democrats forced Trump to release the transcript of the conversation and the conversation included some things that could damage the relationship between Ukraine and Germany plus several other countries.

If leaders in other countries know that our intelligence communities are leaking information on private conversations, do you think they are going to be more or less likely to speak honestly and freely to our President, regardless of which party they belong to?

That is one of their goals. Then they will turn around and claim that Trump has set back foreign relations by a hundred years.

Internal relations?

What, like Barr, Pompeo and Trump asking foreign countries for information against the FBI and CIA?

Stop dude, just stop, you sound like a fool.

Well I guess you guys should have thought about that. I didn't see anything in the Ukraine call transcript that was actual state business, it was all about trump, but when the president's a crook you have to gather evidence.

I'm sure Nixon made the same claims about the WH tapes. I'm mean if the president can't commit a crime in his own office what can he do?

Well I guess you guys should have thought about that. I didn't see anything in the Ukraine call transcript that was actual state business, it was all about trump, but when the president's a crook you have to gather evidence.

I'm sure Nixon made the same claims about the WH tapes. I'm mean if the president can't commit a crime in his own office what can he do?

Lets see the Bengahzi transcripts seein how theres no there there right RT how about every call Soetero made to all foreign leaders, how about all transrcipts from Hillary.. didnt think you would agree, it doesnt fit your narratve, so much for socialist transparency

The President of Ukraine is a comedian! And he appears much smarter/savvy than twitler on the call log and based on what we know now.

Russia thinking 2015 - "this guy is an idiot let's support him over Hillary Clinton"

China thinking right now - "this guy is an idiot we don't deal with him he's out"
