But no problems. The Governor of Arizona, who had not said a word in 9 days, talked yesterday about how bad it is. He seems to have gone very, very, over-the-top with his pronouncement that restaurants should limit their seating to not more than 50%!!! Shit man, that is fooking radical. (and, that's basically all he said, I'm not sure that he even said "stay home")!

Many, many, "medical professional", who we know do not know shit about COVID, have said that Arizona and Florida, and some other areas, need to immediately "close down" completely.

BUT, BUT, BUT, what else could we expect a Republican "business man" to do/say??

Sadly, and I've had a few "very much in-the-know" people tell me honestly that certain levels of our "leadership" are traumatically frozen with fear about the continuing COVID threat to the "economy". Only very few of our leaders have the balls to call-it-as-it-is; this is bad and it in the process of getting so much worse that up to a quarter of our population's lives will be changed for decades to come. By the end of July, the landscape of our employment structure will be trashed. Disney just re-opened but, I think that Disney will be closed again within 4 weeks.

The "Nay Sayers" are again talking like they are very comfortable with 1000 deaths a day.

Yep. Most diseases are preventable to one degree or another. Anyone not having any human contact during all of this could have prevented an infection to themselves. If people go out and have human contact they are voluntariy taking on a risk. Some people win, some lose. No different than AIDS, is it? After we learned the means of transmission, you could pretty much 100% avoid AIDs. Yet people still caught it and still are. Did I freak out over that? Nope. Same with people killed in car crashes, which have killed more people than Corona will by a good measure. I don't freak out over people dying in car crashes either. My chances of dying in the next year are 1.39%. With Corona added to the mix that goes up to roughly 1.56%. Big deal. If it went up to 20% I might start getting nervous.
