He's actually a nice guy, very reasonable. Just wish these guys would stop blindly supporting ignorance and hate. As you can see it is coming back to haunt them.

In my personal experience - He's not a nice guy- I've seen him lose his shit in person and act like a complete asshole dickhead Trumper type.

This was before he got voted in. I've heard worse stories since.

I feel bad for his kids for sure.

Nobody wants to go through thinking their Dad could die- or worse, he actually does.

But aside from that, yeah, he's definitely not somebody I have any respect for.

Sounds like typical GOP a serpent with two heads.

You may not agree with his politics - I do with some and don't with others, but he is a good husband/father and that is a good family. I am hoping for the best with him. I would hate to see his kids/wife lose their dad/husband.

I mostly try to judge them on how they treat their family and whether they are honest in business. That is why I didn't speak ill of Herman Cain and like Wayne Ivey okay even though he is a misguided gladhanding blowhard a lot of the time. I think he really means well, or I've just been snookered by his glad-handing and dog hugging.

Yeah, politicians are mostly blowhards. There are good people in politics too. But politics is also a big game. End of the day, Randy is far from someone I'm hanging out with, but I know he cares about his family, and more importantly is how his kids would feel about losing their dad. I know the kids would be devastated, and that is what I certainly do not want to see.

Hopefully he will fully recover quickly - he seems to have somewhat reasoned views. But...disagreeing with elected officials' illogical views on the Covid-19 response, has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing with his politics. Most of the local elected officials'decisions to blindly follow the republican State and Federal responses is pure ignorance, shamefully making Covid-19 into a political issue.
