That's true, not "civil war" in the organized Ken Burns sense, but it's likely that if you are identified as being against the trump regime you may be in physical danger in rural areas. In the cities, rebels will fight pitched battles against regime forces as they do today, but hopefully with more sophisticated tactics.

The 'growing concern' originated partly from the mouth of the president because of how he was doing in the polls. Unless you are completely obtuse, anyone should be able to see that casting doubt on the legitimacy of an election you were polling horrible for is an extremely transparent tactic for a man like Trump. Anyhow, that 'growing concern' was echoed by FOX, OAN, Breitbart, and propagated around the internet by QANON and Russian bot farms.
