i am not a fan of gold, but do have a bunch of shares in uranium that my parents invested in. I wouldn't have bought it but it was the rage back in the 1950's.

anyway, many are feeling the economic impact because they didn't have the long game vision and their peers who held fast are waaaaaay out pacing them in regards to personal wealth.
It was their choice.

Sad they took investment advice from a grifting, bankrupted, self serving lying, convicted felon.

I look at it this way, I've made good money from investments under every president.
Did well under Trump, and did awesome under Biden.

If a major war doesn't break out, I would expect the market to do well under the Ditz, as it did under Biden. Both of those two are beholden to billionaires and the obvious quid pro quo is to inflate their wealth, which is mostly tied up in the market. But I'd expect a major war to break out with the Ditz in charge. It has been bad enough under Dementia Joe but our enemies were somewhat restrained by the fact that you never know what a senile person will do and they were uncertain about who was pulling the strings. All of the bad actors know that the Ditz is an imbecile with zero leadership skills and will take advantage quickly. That is why I have enough gold and a lot of real estate, some of which produces enough food to sustain me. If the worst comes, at least I'll eat. I do need to get a still going though.
