Well, let's see. I pay about $17 for 50lbs of chicken food. That feeds my chickens for a week. I get about 120 eggs a week. So, about a $1.70/dozen. And that is for organic, free range, cage free eggs. What is the prog uproar about? Guess if they aren't free, they are too much for progs.

It's not my fault that progs are too dumb to raise chickens (though I can see that it might be difficult to raise something that is smarter than you are) and can't afford eggs at retail prices. My birds are fine so far. I have, however, been extra vigilant about keeping progs off of the farm lately. Progs are well known to be prolific disease carriers. Progs, since y'all are too poor to afford eggs, you might be able to get some at the charities to which I donate mine. You'll still find something to bitch about, of course, but it is something.
