Great news for the millions of FL kids with anxiety and PTSD from active shooter drills.

Yeah, this was a terrible decision.
I am a strong believer in licensed CCW carry, but not so much for some buffoon slinging an AR in the grocery store my family goes to.

Florida Man will prevail sooner or later.

Publix will permit customers to open carry guns in Florida

The decision comes a month after a panel of the 1st District Court of Appeal (DCA) overturned a 1987 law that made it a misdemeanor to visibly display guns

Publix is the largest grocery chain in Florida, with over 900 stores

Publix, the largest grocery store chain in Florida, will now follow the state's procedures with its open carry policy.

On Sept. 10, a panel of the 1st District Court of Appeal (DCA) overturned a 1987 law that made it a misdemeanor to visibly display guns, according to Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier. The ruling does permit private business owners to "compel individuals carrying firearms to leave their premises," Uthmeier wrote

From the evidence of your posts on here, you are the buffoon. Best not carry.

I'd love to see the reaction to a dark skinned person in a hoodie with a slung rifle shopping the Palm Beach Publix.

Somehow I have managed to shop there for years and not only have I never needed deadly force, I haven't even gotten in a physical altercation with anyone. Haven't even seen a physical altercation at Publix or any other grocery store. So what does a gun in a grocery store do for you if you don't need it?
