3rd vote for the softtop..they are sluggish but "if" you can't pop right up and have to tripod with a knee on the way up it does not hurt like a glassed board, very cushy on the kneecap, if your pop up becomes a 2 step task, recommended one to an elderly charger who's knees were all banged up from 2 step pop ups. Of course going to one knee on pop is not great but once you are up who cares.
