I have a carbon fiber skimboard with a crack on the top side, right rail and was wondering if anyone knew how to go about fixing a carbon fiber like this, all I have ever done is fiber glass surfboards, any help is appreciated.

Do it the same way, carbon fiber is laminated just like a surfboard. What does the foam look like?

same as regular fiberglass. I have tons of carbon left over from school. Plus 2 gallons of west systems epoxy. If you want to come to merritt island ill be more than happy to give you some or even fix it for you. It would only take about 2 minutes. That would motivate me to work on a fiberglass part on my car lemme know.

I've done a couple of similar repairs for skimmer friends. As long as the foam is solid, the easiest fix is using regular glass and epoxy resin. If you're looking to match the color so the ding is completely unnoticeable, you can go the carbon fiber cloth route, but it's a tad more expensive than the just as effective epoxy method.

Yup. Even the strongest form of carbon, a diamond, has it's weakness.
