The fascists murdered Heather Heyer in Charlottesville, marched with torches chanting "blood and soil" and "Jews will not replace us", carried out mass murder in synagogues in Pittsburgh, Christ Church NZ, and Walmart in El Paso. They are not people we "disagree with", their clear intentions through word and deed are genocide.

They are beating people in the streets to advance their own, fascist cause. They are American Brown Shirts, as everyone can see. Progs support these Brown Shirts, people, as you can see by the posts on here. If they take over, you will eventually be at the receiving end of these Brown Shirts, and later, the prog version of the Gestapo.

There are people on the fringe left and the fringe right who would love nothing more than for one of these clashes to erupt in all-out violence and they would look at those hurt or killed on both sides as collateral damage.
