Lost a middle school teacher today that was the same age as my mother to COVID. He was one of the most influential teachers I had growing up. My wife's uncle is currently admitted with it, his oxygen levels dropped heavily today so it isn't the best news.

This is an 10,000 death increase in just five days.

When I started this thread back in late June with 120,000 dead, I didn't think we would let it get to this point. I figured common sense would kick in and we'd become like the Japaneses and just mask up because it was the right thing to do.

How wrong I was.
