Many numbskulls on here don't want to see the reality of the difficult choices that so many women face on a daily basis.
Everyone faces difficult choices on a daily basis. Most of us put our heads down and deal with them. Women in the U.S. have it easy. There is a reason that they outlive us by a good number of years.

Yes there should be clauses for life threatening reasons, medical, rape, incest, non viable etc. there are a lot of good reasons. The other side is many women abuse that and want to end the pregnancy out of convenience, money, life style etc. there needs to be a way to filter. I am in no way for any type of total ban but You can't just open the gates wide-open. Many would abuse the right for their own selfish reasons and that is not right. It needs to be some sort of middle ground

Ask yourself that question, explore the answers, and become educated.

There are many reasons and if the world was a perfect place and everybody had a good morals, we wouldn't need any laws at all. But the fact is most humans suck and make selfish piss poor decisions, and I believe more women would abuse the right of late term abortions than would do it for the proper reasons.

"The other side is many women abuse that and want to end the pregnancy out of convenience, money, life style etc. there needs to be a way to filter."

Late term abortions represent less than 1% of all abortions and are difficult and costly, and in nearly all cases due to maternal health risk or fetal anomaly. Roe had limits already based on viability and other factors, but now because of the radical christian court, they have or will have shortly total bans in about 20 states, so not much "middle ground".

And this means women who cannot travel, or are prevented from traveling by state forces, will either die or have to give birth to dead or profoundly disabled children (who if they survive I think they should be dropped off on the steps of the state capitols).

Right, I don't agree with the way things are unfolding, it's not middle ground at all. And using the Bible as a guide to make laws for all is BS.

Nobody is using the Bible to guide anything.

Murder is murder.

Plain and simple.

My point was that one's beliefs and morals don't apply to everyone, and sometimes they have to be put aside to decide what's best for everyone as a whole.

This is the middle ground. The left wants to be able to abort babies until they are a year old or so and kick puppies off of bridges. The right would like to ban it all outright. We are looking at the middle ground. When the left made the push that basically anyone and everyone who believed that safe, legal, and rare was no longer in their camp and they not only wanted abortion tolerated but they wanted it celebrated, they lost a lot of people and opened the door for people to feel good about overturning Roe.

Lunchmeat for the win.

Sniper, as usual, way off the mark. There's nothing "left" about women's rights. It's an issue of bodily autonomy, and if men got pregnant abortion would be routine.

No it wouldn't. Women would raise unholy hell if we were to abort their children.

Murder is murder.

There is no beliefs or morals different from the definition of murder.

Whats 'best for the whole' is NO murder.

New Orleans as done something...

New Orleans court blocks enforcement of Louisiana's trigger law outlawing abortion

New Orleans Civil District Court Judge Robin Giarrusso issued a temporary restraining order preventing enforcement after a Shreveport abortion clinic filed a lawsuit earlier Monday challenging Louisiana's trigger law.

Giarrusso's order is in effect until a hearing that she set on July 8

Antiabortion legislators want to block patients from crossing state lines

Several national antiabortion groups and their allies in Republican-led state legislatures are advancing plans to stop people in states where abortion is banned from seeking the procedure elsewhere...

"Just because you jump across a state line doesn't mean your home state doesn't have jurisdiction," said Peter Breen, vice president and senior counsel for the Thomas More Society. "It's not a free abortion card when you drive across the state line."

"Legislators in [antiabortion] states have made clear that their intent is not only to ban abortion within their own state's borders but to ban it in states where it is expressly permitted," said Connecticut state Rep. Matt Blumenthal,

^^^lies of the century!

There is no Texas law for people who go out of state to get an abortion.

There isn't a law in any other state as well.
