But they forgot to let the Ukrainians know and participate in the conversation.

Even more astounding is that if Pence had any sway at all with Trump, who could not have cared less if Pence was hung on January 6, he would still be the VP. Instead, he's a christian pundit with as many as one hudred followers.

Trump wants Ukraine to fall, Trump wants to weaken Nato and Trump will not go against Putin.

Trump thinks he can "save lives" by rewarding Russia for its invasion and war crimes. Hegseth, the military man from the inside, can't see any future in fighting Putin the surrender monkey just gave up the game. It's like he's playing poker with his cards backwards. Protecting a democracy from an imperialist invasion just sounds like too much for the new United States of Trump. Instead, he's focusing on invading Gaza, removing all the Palestinians, forcing them into the surrounding Arab countries as refugees with no promise of aid and giving Israel all that real estate as gift that the U.S. protects with its troops. So no, we refuse to be the world's policeman but we will be policing Gaza for Israel.
