Or you can put in Mosquito dunks, but, how many people really do any of that? Face it, most people are not very responsible in any aspect of their lives. If they were, so many of our problems would not be problems. That is why we are referred to as "the responsible few".

I use mosquito bits, which is made form the makers of dunks. And almost weekly throw them into all of my bromeliads after rinsing them out. I have hardly any mosquitos in my yard despite a huge collection of bromeliads.
