Pretty sure there would have been a lot done if not for stonewalling by the loony left majority in the House. I agree a wall is not the answer, but I also contend wide open boarders aren't either. When political posturing is more important than the nation's best interest, its a sure sign our government is totally FUBAR, with the emphasis on BAR. Have you even bothered to see the attempts at southern border immigration reform over the last two decades? It sure as shit isn't Democrats doing the blocking. Mexico and South America aren't sending doctors and engineers. They are sending unskilled/uneducated people. The United States isn't really manufacturing that many products these days. Farming and most other industries are in the process of automating as much as possible. Do you Democrats see the demand for these unskilled jobs in the United States going up or down in the future? It would appear that Democrats have absolutely zero foresight. Either that or Republicans can be for air and water and you will be against it.
