China bought $0 worth of soybeans from US farmers this year. Last year, $13B
Trump plans to put US taxpayers on the hook to bailout the people who voted for this, again. Soybean farmers say the planned $10B bailout isn't enough. Soybean bailouts cost taxpayers $40B in his last term. Meanwhile, South America has stepped up to meet China's demand. So, end result of this tariff policy will be China doesn't need US farmers.
