Interesting video.
However, there is extensive erosion of the body of the sphinx, but not on the paws of it? How, then, can they say that it was made 25K years ago? Was it eroded, then carved? Or carved, then eroded? ------------------------- GOP: Gaslight Obstruct Project |

No, the paws have been "repaired". The one thing is that there are some very old repairs that date back to around 2500BC. OK, but, , , , if the Egyptians built the Sphinx "around" 2500BC, wasn't it "brand new" in 2500BC? Why would it need repairs?
The interesting thing about the "erosion' is that even a beginning BS in geology, without knowing any "history", can walk up to the Sphinx and tell you that the erosion is from rain/water. The first archeologists/geologists that stated that the erosion was from water, and not from "wind blown sand", were darn near tarred and feathered and run-out-of-town. Talk like that about the Sphinx, and some other architecturally disconnected buildings there, imply that the Egyptians "moved in" to existing structures and did not actually build much! ------------------------- Dora Hates You |
