It does happen. And after researching it a little bit it's the go to method in countries with strict gun laws it seems. It also shows it's a mental health issue more than a gun law issue, though both need to be addressed.

If you knew you were going to be in a mass casualty event, one with a knife and one with an A/R and you have the choice of which one to be involved, what are you choosing?

There is a reason mentally deranged people target schools for mass shootings And not police stations or gun ranges. Fish in a barrel. There is an easy fix:

I'd prefer the pyromaniac has a flint and steel rather than a flamethrower.

Obvious answer of course WTF. But also obvious that if one wants to cause harm, they are going to, one way or another.
Look I'm not trying to argue with you guys on this subject. I agree that it's too easy for just anyone to get a gun.
Stiffer laws will not affect my ability to get one if I choose to.
Stiffer laws also do not impinge on anyone's 2nd amendment rights.

Was curious myself so looked for one-

At least 20 teenagers and one adult were injured, two of them critically, Wednesday morning at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Pa., when a 16-year-old fellow student attacked them with two knives.

Imagine the deaths if it were a gun. "Injured" much better than dead. Knives can't compete with the harm guns do. Hence that old saying about "bringing a knife to a gunfight..." Do you even read what you write?

yeah, but why not keep certain ways they can take out mass amounts quickly out of the equation, like a gun?

Why does the military arm soldiers marines etc with guns and not just knives? One is more effective at killing. Guess which one.

Yeah...the problem with your bullshit is that almost NOBODY can bring a gun on a school campus...EXCEPT MENTAL CASES THAT DON'T OBEY THE LAW!

You are seriously BRAIN DEAD!

Why do you insist on being in attack mode all time? Yes I'm very aware of what wrote. I looked it up out of curiosity after you mentioned it, and just posted the info you asked for, without leaning either way on it.

Pray tell O wise ones, how do start solving the 'mental health' issue?

Take for example,, 'Sandy Hook' perhaps? Mommas gun...

And pray tell again, who 'pays' for the solution? literally?

Is my 'freedom' from your insanity 'free'?

Put a mental health tax on guns and bullets.

Well for starters some of the $40b qoing to Ukraine could be put to better use by using it to overhaul our mental health care system. Not the answer but a start. Just my opinion of course.

Why the fuck would we want to do that? Continue caving into papa? Fuck that shit..

Joe's not on his payroll, unlike the orangatan...

Seems to me that fixing 'Mental health' is a problem that gun owner's should fund entirely on their own if they want to keep their guns...

Speaking of Mental Health...

Abbott calls Texas school shooting a mental health issue but cut state spending for it

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/u...-state-spend-rcna30557

UVALDE, Texas - Gov. Greg Abbott said Wednesday that the Uvalde school shooter had a "mental health challenge" and the state needed to "do a better job with mental health" - yet in April he slashed $211 million from the department that oversees mental health programs.

In addition, Texas ranked last out of all 50 states and the District of Columbia for overall access to mental health care, according to the 2021 State of Mental Health in America report.

Looks like criminal negligence.

Yeah, I think we are on the same page here. Not sure why others here only want to go after you.

End of the day - you are right, we'll talk about it ad nauseum, but until people use their vote to affect real change, nothing is going to happen.
