The two times of year I do best(at my favorite areas near or at inlets) are around the supposed "runs" of fish that spawn offshore in the winter.

So in the spring and early summer, we get them coming inshore where they disperse into the ICW creeks and up the river all the way to palatka!

Then in the fall we get them as they head back offshore. Fall historically is best especially for big fish(mullet run), but due to increased pressure I am doing better on the spring runs.

So you can get them year around but I do best during those times, the spring run in is about over but many hang around jettys and inlets all year while others head to the creeks etc and many people think go up river for the shrimp.
