.DISCUSSION...
Currently...High pressure dominates the area with surface
dewpoints and RH quite low across inland locations of central FL.
As winds will diminish quickly with dusk, temperatures will
quickly plummet as well at sunset.

Tonight and Monday...The 12Z guidance suite came in even colder
for the Treasure Coast and southern portions of the forecast area.
With high pressure settling squarely over the area, optimal
radiational cooling will produce a wider area of sub freezing
temperatures. The freeze warning for tonight was earlier expanded
to include the south Brevard, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.
Widespread frost is indicated north and west of Metro Orlando,
including the inland freeze warned areas of the Treasure Coast to
Lake Okeechobee. Locations over the Treasure Coast will likely
see even colder readings than what occurred Saturday night.

My method of coping - A pot of stone ground grits for breakfast and (Christmas carcass) turkey soup for lunch and dinner. Also, a well-stoked oak fire burning in my air-tight wood stove all day. Nice day.
