If you want to have an un-vented thing that produces hazardous gas in your confined living space, by all means, have at it. I have no range vent. I am glad I do not have a gas stove.

Have a rangehood that vents to the outside ..... problem solved.

"The solution to pollution is dilution" kinda failed when we hit the '50s and '60s leading to the introduction of things in the '70s like the EPA, the Clean Water Act, and in this case the Clean Air Act. The solution in this case is better technology to reduce the NOx. Remember the VW diesel scandal? Same stuff. The improved tech is on the shelf, Google infrared gas stove.
