I'm not sure anyone is dead set on everyone paying more for healthcare. It comes down to whether or not we want the government in charge of managing our healthcare and being able to decide who gets treated. How many people do you hear raving about the service they receive at VA clinics around the country? ----- At least one. If you are looking for customer service and efficiency, are you going to ship something using FedEx, UPS, or the USPS? --- USPS is competitive, often cheaper Look at the advancements SpaceX and others have made in our space program in the short time they have been involved. -- a perfect example of how smart government spending can spur industry If you want the healthcare industry to be agile and innovative then keep it private and encourage competition. -- wrong, there is little competition now, little choice.
