some hope
From Saturday into early next week increasing moisture and cooling temperatures aloft will result in higher coverage of afternoon showers and storms. Highest chances favor the northern interior on Saturday and then closer to the east coast from Sunday into next week as the ridge axis is forecast to shift south across southern Florida, but chances are capped at 30-40% due to some model discrepancies. It will still be hot, but at least there are chances for rain on the horizon. Highs will remain the low to mid 90s inland and upper 80s to low 90s along the coast. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s with some embedded mid 70s. |
