As with the previous day, the combination of surface heating, deep
moisture, sea breeze/mesoscale boundary interactions, and cooler air
aloft should be sufficient for isolated to scattered (20-40pct)
convection developing later this afternoon into the evening. The
storm motion will be out of the west or northwest at up to 10 mph. A
few cells could affect small craft boaters over the intracoastal or
near shore Atlc waters by late in the day or early evening. Storm
impacts include occasional lightning, heavy downpours, locally gusty
winds and small hail potential. Boaters over inland lakes will also
need to keep an eye to the sky late today as thunderstorms develop.
Suspect highest coverage may not occur until late afternoon or early
evening from stronger boundary collisions and expect any cloud
debris to thin slowly through late in the night.
